We are doing our very best to accommodate all our client and patient needs and requests during the pandemic. We are seeing wellness and vaccination visits as well as trying to accommodate urgent situations for existing patients. We ask for your patience during this time as the entire veterinary industry is experiencing a major surge in demand. As we have entered into the purple tier in San Francisco, we understand if clients are more comfortable staying outside or in their car, rather than coming into the hospital. You may also cancel your appointment if it is non-urgent.
Please be aware that we are currently booked out several months in advance for wellness appointments, procedures, and surgeries. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but we are limiting the number of appointments we schedule ahead of time to allow room for last minute urgent care visits. We have been at maximum capacity as we try to take care of all of our patients in need, but please be understanding that we will not compromise our patient care in order to fit everyone in. We will recommend bringing your pet to an emergency clinic if we feel it is in your pet's best interest.
We truly appreciate your continued trust in our care. Thank you for helping us keep our staff, clients and community safe and healthy. Thank you for being patient and kind during this very challenging time.
Please review this list of protocols before your next visit to our hospital:
*Face mask is required prior to entering the hospital and must be worn properly at ALL times, even when you are alone in the examination room.
*Only 2 people in the lobby at a time and 1 person in the exam room during the appointment (all other family members are asked to wait outside). You are welcome to stay outside for any services if you feel more comfortable. Please call us when you arrive for assistance.
*Please maintain distance from staff members and other clients. Maintain a 6 foot distance at ALL times please.
*If you are not feeling well (in any circumstance), please make arrangements for a friend or family member to bring in your pet.
*We are taking mandatory forehead temperatures prior to entering our exam rooms.
We are following the guidelines of the San Francisco Department of Public Health, CVMA and AVMA recommendations. Please feel free to read information on any of these websites for more information about COVID19 and your pet's health. UC Davis has done a question and answer session and has provided updates on Corona virus and your pets.
